As Marketing Data & Effectiveness Manager, you will play a pivotal role in putting customer insight and data-driven decision-making at the heart of our marketing strategy. You will lead our global Voice of Customer (VoC) programme while enabling more effective, personalised, and measurable marketing campaigns across business units and markets. This is a global, high impact role requiring strong analytical thinking, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration.

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • VoC Programme: Design a streamlined VoC programme which regularly captures customer feedback in a consistent way across country and business unit, following our Data, Insights, Action approach. Seamlessly execute surveys which gather insightful feedback from a robust and unbiased sample of customers. Build text analytics models (using AI where possible) to understand customer sentiment, classify feedback and unearth key pain points and drivers. Share the results in a timely way at all appropriate levels of the business. Ensure all customer feedback is acted in a timely manner at the right organisational levels, implementing feedback loops and designing and collecting action trackers. Communicate programme updates and scores to the organisation, to ensure the VoC programme is fully embedded in the business.
  • Marketing campaigns: Define the data fundamentals needed within Convatec to deliver personalised communication & build a roadmap with each BU to close any data gaps. Working closely with the Marketing Performance Manager: Monitor current campaign performance and provide guidance on how to improve performance as well as sharing areas of best practice. Build insightful case studies which merge the latest external best practice with current Convatec performance. Partner with SFE colleagues to build a ‘marketing segmentation’ approach for HCPs which allows us to differentiate our campaigns that are aligned with our sales segmentation and then implement them in our key markets.
  • Technology to allow marketing personalisation: Evaluate the capabilities of the Dynamics Customer Insights and Data platform and work with each Business Unit to understand the value key use cases. Ultimately determining whether to enable the module. Partner with IT on a project plan (including obtaining relevant funding) to enable the module & determine the data sources.
ABOUT YOU

You are a data-driven marketing professional who enjoys turning customer insight into real business impact. You are comfortable leading global initiatives and influencing a broad range of stakeholders.

  • 7+ years’ experience in Customer Experience, Voice of Customer, or Marketing Effectiveness roles, ideally in healthcare, MedTech, pharma, or B2B.
  • Proven experience running global VoC programmes, from survey design to insight activation.
  • Strong capability in text analytics, sentiment analysis, and AI-enabled insight generation.
  • Solid expertise in customer segmentation, journeys, and personalised omnichannel marketing.
  • Hands-on experience measuring and optimising campaign performance.
  • Advanced analytical skills and confidence working with complex, multi-source data.
  • Familiarity with CRM, CDPs, and marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to influence senior stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, curious, and proactive mindset, with the confidence to lead at pace in a global matrix.
