About the Role

At Galderma, we are building a world class Operations organization through enhanced product launch and end-to-end product life-cycle leadership. In the role of Global Product Operations Leader, you will be fully accountable for the development and implementation of the new Product Operating Model across the Therapeutic Dermatology including Biologics business, as we strive to launch Galderma into the next phase of development and drive performance improvements that will substantially impact our future growth. You will spearhead launches of all major Therapeutic Dermatology including Biologics products and manage those products throughout their full life-cycle and per the product operating model, ensuring high performing product teams are established and delivering on the product ambition of continued availability at optimal quality, on time and in cost. This role will report to the Global Head of Product Operations, and lead a product team with representatives from all key functions in global Operations and end-to-end stakeholders, with full responsibility for the successful execution of product strategy in Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Change & Leadership: Serve as a change leader to establish and embed the Galderma Product Operating Model within Operations and across end‑to‑end stakeholders. Lead the Therapeutic Dermatology (including Biologics) Product Operations Teams, applying broad knowledge across supply chain, manufacturing technologies, regulatory requirements, quality standards, finance, and business processes to maximize product value. Develop and maintain a high‑performing team through coaching, mentoring, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management: Lead major product launches, geographic roll‑outs, and comprehensive lifecycle management projects. Assimilate emerging brand strategy insights from Global Product Strategy (GPS) and integrate them into operational plans. Analyze and synthesize multi‑functional data to provide strategic guidance, refine priorities, and support decision‑making.
  • Cross‑Functional Alignment & Execution: Drive upstream alignment and act as the primary Operations point of contact for major Therapeutic Dermatology and Biologics launches. Partner closely with Operations leadership, GPS Franchise Leads, Research & Development, and other stakeholders to ensure transparent, fact‑based communication. Play a key role in the Therapeutic Dermatology (including Biologics) Core Team alongside R&D and GPS.
  • Risk & Performance Management: Lead product risk management to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve supply risks. Monitor project progress and elevate emerging issues to senior management and the Core Team as needed.

Accountabilities

  • Lead Global Product Teams to craft innovative, integrated product strategies that optimize the portfolio across the entire lifecycle.
  • Champion and role‑model the Product Operating Model across Galderma.
  • Ensure effective cross‑functional collaboration, transparency, and alignment across Operations, R&D, and GPS.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: BS/MS in Operations, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, OTC, biotech, or life sciences, with a strong track record in product launches, geographic rollouts, and lifecycle management. Proven experience working within a Product Operating Model in a complex global environment (an advantage). Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional teams (supply, quality, regulatory, CMC, procurement, process engineering, packaging, device).
  • Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical ability; able to structure, prioritize, and communicate effectively in complex and evolving environments. Demonstrated leadership in organizational change management. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Expertise in project management methodologies, with a sense of urgency and ambition. Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Language Requirements: Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional languages are an asset.
