The Commercialization Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading the end‑to‑end delivery of Godiva’s global innovation and renovation pipeline across channels, ensuring projects land on time, on cost and fully aligned to commercial and retailer requirements. This role provides strong cross‑functional leadership, connecting Brand, Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Packaging, Regulatory and Regional teams to deliver scalable, operationally robust product solutions that protect Godiva’s premium brand standards.

A defining element of the role is the ownership of global coordination for regional design requests, including intake, prioritisation and workflow management within the Global Design Studio. The Commercialization and Design Specialist acts as the central point of governance, ensuring that all packaging and design adaptations are properly briefed, resourced, executed and delivered with quality, consistency and transparency. Through disciplined project governance, effective cross‑functional alignment and clear communication with regions, the Commercialization and Design Specialist ensures that innovation, packaging and artwork delivery are efficient, retailer‑ready, and commercially viable. The role exists to enable Godiva to execute with excellence across channels, improving speed‑to‑market, consistency of creative execution and the overall quality of brand presence in stores around the world.

Key Deliverables

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of global innovation and renovation projects across channels.
  • Build structured project plans that manage critical paths, risks, interdependencies and regional launch timings.
  • Guide cross‑functional teams (Brand, Commercial, R&D, Packaging, Supply Chain, Finance) to move projects through governance gates with clarity and discipline.
  • Partner with markets to ensure product fit for customer requirements, retailers’ calendars, and category needs.
  • Ensure all initiatives are optimised for the channel including retailer and regional compliance.
  • Act as the central intake manager for all regional creative and artwork adaptation requests.
  • Validate briefs for completeness, ensuring clear objectives and timelines.
  • Run prioritisation sessions with the Design Studio to allocate resources based on global priorities, market urgency and available capacity.
  • Maintain a live design request tracker covering status, SLAs, risks, bottlenecks, and approvals.
  • Provide proactive communication to markets on feasibility, timing and any required trade‑offs.
  • Manage feedback loops between regional teams, Design Studio and Global Brand to ensure quality, consistency, and brand compliance.

  • Experience managing stakeholders across multiple functions and regions.
  • FMCG experience.
