About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair within the Rooms Division Department in London, the Front Office Executive is responsible for the smooth running of the front of house desk, acting as an ambassador for the brand and delivering a warm and personalised experience to our guests and residents. The Front Office Executive reports to the Room Division Manager.

As Front Office Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Warmly welcoming our guests to Mandarin Oriental service standards.
  • Performing check in and check out duties alongside daily Front Office administrative tasks all to Mandarin Oriental’s standards.
  • Interacting confidently with our guests promoting our services and facilities.
  • Being curious and wanting to know what is happening within the Hotel and surrounding area.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure good communication is kept and overall service is sleek.

As Front Office Executive, we expect from you:

  • Working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
