About the role: As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will collaborate with sales teams to ensure key V7 customers achieve twice the impact in half the time. You will thrive on understanding technical leaders' challenges and requirements and delivering complex solutions and POVs. You are a prototyper at heart with a gift of talking to customers, building relationships, and solving technical problems with repeatability. You will join a high performing team of two, supporting the wider sales team on key deals and customer proof-of-values. V7 is a self-serve product, but complex problems sometimes require complex solutions that customers don’t always see – that’s where you come in.
What you will be doing:
- Solutions development and presentation: You will develop and present workflow implementations within V7 that combine prompt engineering, data ingestion pipelines, and format conversions, solving customer problems in image recognition, document processing, product development and more. You will present your findings to customers alongside sales.
- Technical integrations: You will work with our product team to assist with the integration of new models and ML‑Ops tools into V7.
- Marketplace Integration: Develop and maintain the integration into major cloud marketplaces so users can more easily set up V7 on their cloud of choice.
- Time management: Multi‑task between up to 5 simultaneous projects delivered in short timeframes. You are a skilled multi‑tasker and familiar with project management tools like Linear.
Who you are:
- Experience delivering Large Language Model projects with customers, including LLM API integration, up‑to‑speed knowledge of foundation models, SFT, prompt engineering, RAG and/or measuring AI accuracy.
- Two years + experience in solutions architecture or integrating multiple applications/data streams, or ML development within customer‑facing roles.
- Intermediate experience with Python.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
- Solutioning: ability to develop and articulate an AI solution vision to technical and business stakeholders with customers and partners to match value proposition to business needs.
- Thrived as another fast‑paced SaaS startup or scale‑up during a high‑growth phase.

- Expertise with langchain and similar tools for multimodal AI projects.
