Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week at HMS Collingwood, Fareham.

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering training in the maintenance of Royal Navy Sonar systems, in support of the Royal Navy Weapon Engineering (WE) Capability Training Unit.
  • Using performance data and insights to drive continuous improvement across RN WE training, including internal and third-party evaluations.
  • Identifying and sharing best practices to inform quality and improvement initiatives across training establishments.
  • Implementing consistent systems and processes to harmonise training delivery across RN locations.
  • Ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met, while supporting personalised learning journeys and representing WE Training needs to delivery teams.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience of working on/maintaining modern Royal Navy Sonar Systems.

Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience of maintenance of Sonar systems.
  • Level 4 teaching certificate or equivalent (will be enrolled onto internal training course if not held).
  • Military weapon engineering Sensor systems or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in managing & maintaining RN WE sensors equipment.
  • Experience in maintenance of RN WE sensors Equipment.
