STILL Materials Handling Ltd is part of the KION Group, one of the World’s leading manufacturers of forklift trucks, warehouse and material handling equipment. We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Manager Key Accounts. The main focus of this role is to support the UK Sales Director in developing and delivering the UK growth strategy to achieve the required company goals.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving agreed annual National Account targets of selling STILL product portfolio.
  • Growing New, Used, Advanced Application and STR revenue opportunities, ensuring consistent customer focus is achieved.
  • Supporting the Sales Director in agreeing sales targets for the National Accounts, personnel planning, recruiting and sales strategy.
  • Providing leadership and support for the National Account team, coaching, mentoring, and monitoring to maximise their potential to achieve agreed company targets.
  • Ensuring consistent communication of both company wide, and customer related information throughout the team, and senior leadership.
  • Retaining STILL UK’s valuable customer portfolio through active account management.
  • Working alongside all departments to ensure that customer expectations are met.
  • Managing product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
  • Handling business enquiries and issues received from customers and the STILL team, attaining a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrating strong commercial awareness of both the STILL brand and our competitors.
  • Ensuring the team uses and updates the CRM system.
  • Recording, analysing, reporting, and administering according to systems and requirements.
  • Assisting with the creation of a harmonious and productive sales environment.
  • Negotiating with customers on sales agreements and contracts for the supply of STILL products.
  • Demonstrating STILL products and services to existing and prospect customers.
  • Establishing strong long-term client relationships and ensuring regular communication with key Customers.
  • Quickly and effectively meeting customer needs, handling complaints and issues.
  • Being involved in continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Project managing fleet projects on a National and International basis.
  • Conducting strategic Key Account development meetings.
  • Monitoring Key Performance Indicators for defined Key Accounts and defining improvement or corrective actions.
  • Regularly demonstrating Company values of Integrity, Courage, Collaboration & Excellence.

Who are we looking for?

Must have a proven track record of working within an International and Account Management background, preferably within the forklift or material handling sector. We are looking for someone who can show previous success in achieving sales targets, negotiation and problem solving in a Key Account environment and is self-motivated. You will need to be commercially minded, IT literate, and have excellent communication skills.
