A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. This is a dual role which requires the applicant to perform in either role when required in the Branch. Ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background of Warehouse or Commercial vehicle parts.

Responsibilities
  • Driver
    • Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications
    • Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
    • Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
    • Unload goods as per client specifications
    • Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
    • Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
  • Warehouse Operative
    • Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
    • Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
    • Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
    • Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
    • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
