A key role within our Motorsport team, responsible for developing and implementing events, hospitality programmes and brand experiences, at and away from the track, with support of junior team members. This role will be reporting directly to the Head of Events - Motorsport.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Leading the curation and delivery of events across key Motorsport accounts
  • Responsible for partnership events and hospitality planning, aligned to client requirements in terms of audience/guest profile, objectives, budget parameters, and performance KPIs
  • Implementation of partnership events and hospitality programmes, in conjunction with rights holder and sister agencies, and general account management of suppliers, budget, and client reporting
  • Accountable for project budget management, from building detailed event budgets, live tracking, and post-project reporting to key stakeholders
  • Reporting and evaluation, including interpretation of results and recommendations to clients
  • Planning and oversight of all events-related deliverables across other areas of partnership activation and account management
  • Ensuring account team deliver across core partnership management deliverables, including management of merchandise/collateral, contractual asset monitoring and status reporting – ensuring contractual asset usage is maximised and tracked
  • Supporting Head of Events – Motorsport, with the implementation of best practices to ensure all events and hospitality programmes are delivered to Wasserman standards
  • Driving incremental business opportunities, contribution to the wider Motorsport financial targets
  • Supporting development and up-skilling junior members of the account team, working closely with Head of Events – Motorsport to identify individual development needs
  • Supporting and where required, leading on new business proposals and joining pitch teams when client briefs require event specialist input

Role-specific responsibilities include:

  • Management of key relationships with clients, rights holders and suppliers – acting as a point of escalation to the junior account team
  • Oversee development and delivery of required events and activations
  • Deliver best-in-class client events and activations, pulling through core client narrative to all touchpoints
  • Strive to meet client KPI’s and ensure activity is effectively measured
  • Work across additional client programmes and activations as required
  • Thorough understanding of client budget parameters
  • Continually seek cost-saving measures and opportunities
  • Pursue opportunities to grow business organically
  • Monitor and approve spending of direct reports
  • Manage team members, ensuring that tasks are being completed correctly, efficiently and timely
  • Promote conflict resolution amongst staff, and recommend and manage solutions
  • Regular interactions with the Head of Events – Motorsport to ensure client goals are managed consistently
  • Regular interactions with Head of Events - Motorsport to ensure best practices delivered across all events and hospitality programmes delivered for clients

Additional Responsibilities

  • Oversee management of Motorsport events documents, trackers, templates and planning materials
  • Proactively identify and share relevant industry news, trends and case studies
  • Relationship management with key events suppliers in F1 and motorsport network
  • Develop clear and concise internal and external presentations and reporting
  • Demonstrate appropriate behaviours, conduct and professionalism in all inter-personal, written and verbal communications
  • Track time and financial expenses on a day-to-day basis

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Agency experience is strongly preferred
  • Motorsport (F1) experience, minimum 2yrs required
  • Minimum of 5yrs experience delivering first-class hospitality / event programmes for C-suite guests
  • Experience working on large global brands is preferred
  • Experience in managing multiple team members across multiple work streams
  • Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activities and clients with tight deadlines
  • Ability to anticipate problems/issues and suggest proactive resolutions to be put into place
  • Strong operations and logistics management skills, including planning of shipments, transport and global travel
  • Strong spreadsheet and budget management skills, including use of Microsoft Excel
  • Presentation skills (verbal and written), internally and to clients/suppliers including the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, internally and to clients/suppliers
  • Team management – management, coordination and development of junior team members
  • Creative thinking and awareness of event industry trends
  • Attention to detail and organisation critical
  • Confidence and ability to present to senior stakeholders

International travel will be required in the delivery of client activations and events. Flexible working applies, a minimum of three days a week working from London office required.
