As an Enterprise Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding our strategic partnership with a leading UK-based EPC company. Your mission is to drive business growth by showcasing and selling AVEVA’s innovative suite of products and services, while ensuring customer satisfaction and leveraging curiosity to understand their business goals and priorities. The role requires managing 2 large, complex accounts with potential expansion, discovering new opportunities across our portfolio, building a business case with the customer, and serving as a trusted advisor with strong commercial and analytical skills.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the client organization.
- Implement and execute detailed account plans to achieve revenue targets and forecasts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the account to create a pipeline and drive growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions that meet the client’s requirements and drive value.
- Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products to effectively position AVEVA’s solutions.
- Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce and provide regular updates on account performance.
- Coordinate AVEVA’s touch points globally, including sales, field service, technical support, marketing principals, partners, and back-office areas such as purchasing and finance for named accounts.
- Strive for high customer satisfaction and experience from a globally consistent AVEVA look, feel, and performance focused on value generation and sustainment.
Essential requirements
- Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably within the EPC, Energy, Oil, and Gas industry, including building executive-level relationships and orchestrating complex global engagements.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, capable of becoming a trusted advisor within a customer organization.
- Familiarity with AVEVA’s products and services and with the EPC, Energy, Oil, and Gas industry.
- Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally (approximately 30-40% per annum).
