What you’ll do:

  • Cultivate a high-performance agile development team balancing executing new features while maintaining our existing system health.
  • Manage a team of full-stack engineers to deliver internal platforms.
  • Hold regular 1:1s, mentor engineers, and work with contractors.
  • Work with Directors to drive engineering vision.
  • Work with product to develop solutions that align with business cases and strategy.
  • Constantly improve our platforms.
  • Experiment with new technologies and integrate them into our stack when appropriate.

Who you are:

  • Has experience working in an agile team.
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests.
  • Experience reviewing code changes.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills paired with the ability to drive complex projects.
  • Interested in music and in learning the intricacies of the music business.
  • Able to influence cross‑functional teams and create a consensus between engineering teams.
  • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Experience with React/frontend JS is a plus.
  • 2+ years in an engineering management role.
  • 5+ years of experience building and maintaining complex software products.
  • 5+ years in a scripting language such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, etc.
