As the Director, Consumer PR you’ll manage the development and implementation of integrated brand communication strategies that drive relevancy and growth across the EMEAI region (inclusive of India) for Authentic’s portfolio of brands. Reporting directly to the SVP, Integrated Marketing EMEAI, you’ll collaborate with the Global PR & Comms team, regional Integrated Marketing team, Brand Management team, and brand partners to develop and execute integrated communication strategies that drive relevancy and growth for Authentic’s portfolio in the region.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership – Lead the creation and execution of integrated PR and communications strategies across the EMEAI region, aligning closely with Brand Management, Global Communications, and key commercial stakeholders.
- Media Relations & Storytelling – Build and leverage senior‑level editorial relationships to secure high‑impact coverage across fashion, lifestyle, and business media.
- Brand Reputation & Risk Management – Protect and manage brand reputation across EMEAI for the lifestyle and entertainment brands, identifying and escalating potential risks in real time.
- Audience Growth & Relevance – Drive initiatives that expand brand reach and cultural relevance, engaging new and diverse audiences to support business growth and market penetration.
- Showroom & Experiential Strategy – Lead the PR strategy and activation of Authentic’s interactive showrooms and style studio, leveraging the space as an immersive hub for media and stylists relations, press events and creator engagement.
- Talent, Celebrity & Stylist Engagement – Cultivate and manage relationships with stylists, celebrities, and cultural influencers in partnership with the Influencer Marketing Manager to maximize brand visibility across TV, film, digital, social, and print platforms.
- Content Development & Media Outreach – Oversee the development of press materials including releases, media alerts, and tailored pitches.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with Authentic’s Global Corporate Communications team to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging across EMEAI markets.
- Events & Campaign Execution – Lead the planning and delivery of seasonal campaigns, press events, and key moments that drive visibility and engagement across priority markets.
- Tools, Systems & Reporting – Utilize industry‑leading PR and media intelligence platforms (e.g., Cision, Launchmetrics, Muck Rack) to manage outreach, track coverage, measure impact, and provide strategic insights to stakeholders.
Must Haves
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior PR/communications role, managing multiple brands concurrently, either in‑house or at an agency within fashion, lifestyle, entertainment or consumer brands across EMEAI.
- Experience working with celebrities and talent with a strong network across EMEAI media, stylists and cultural influencers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead regional strategy while aligning with global direction.
- Thorough knowledge of media landscape and timely news cycles across print, digital, broadcast and social across EMEAI.
