About The Team
You’ll be joining the JD.com team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Customer Development and Performance Achievement: Responsible for developing large enterprise clients such as Fortune 500 companies, execute sales plans, achieve performance and customer development targets, and expand sales business.
- Solution Development and Execution: Sign contracts with large enterprise clients, prepare and execute sales and service plans, provide comprehensive bundled solutions to meet procurement needs.
- Opportunity Identification and Operations Maintenance: Identify business opportunities, lead and assist in the operations and maintenance of signed clients, implement optimization measures, create marketing and application scenarios, and enhance customer experience.
- Information Feedback and Communication: Understand market and customer needs, provide feedback on industry-related information, strengthen collaboration with internal operations and business teams, and coordinate online procurement, payment recovery, and after-sales service for clients.
- Receivables Collection and Customer Relationship Maintenance: Responsible for collecting receivables from clients with payment terms, regularly provide after-sales service, continuously strengthen customer relationship building, and improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Summary
As Country Marketplace Leader, you will be accountable for the local marketplace business, owning P&L performance and delivering against clear input and output metrics across selection, pricing, availability, and seller quality. You will operate as the single-threaded owner for the country, setting the strategic direction and driving disciplined execution. This role requires a leader who combines strong business judgment with operational rigor, and who can continuously raise the performance bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Own country’s marketplace P&L, delivering on revenue, margin, and free cash flow targets;
- Define and execute country strategy, grounded in data, with clear prioritisation across categories and growth levers;
- Drive input metrics (selection expansion, price competitiveness, seller performance, availability) to achieve output goals;
- Lead a multi-functional team, setting high standards for hiring, performance management, and talent development;
- Inspect and improve mechanisms, establishing weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to drive accountability;
- Partner with global stakeholders to influence roadmap, allocate resources, and remove structural constraints.
Qualifications
- Experience as a senior leader within e-commerce or marketplace with a country/regional scope;
- Strong understanding of European marketplace and sellers;
- Comfortable analysing complex data and providing actionable recommendations;
- Structured, performance-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including international teams;
- Proven success in building long-term B2B and cross border partnerships;
- Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
