About The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic self‑starter who wants to join our market‑leading consulting team which provides strategic communications to global companies within the Energy and Natural Resources sector. Our clients include listed and non‑listed businesses operating across the sector including mining, oil and gas, renewable energy and clean technology. These range from global leaders, Fortune500s and FTSE100s through to start‑ups and mandates can be ongoing retainers, reputational projects or capital markets transactions. We are seeking a Consultant to help grow our market‑leading Energy and Natural Resources practice. This role will see you work closely with our energy clients on integrated corporate reputation and capital markets workstreams.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Client Advisory Advising companies how to strategically and impactfully reach financial and corporate audiences at key moments, including key business updates, partnerships, financial results, investor days/CMDs, events and conferences. Developing strategies to advocate and amplify a company’s perspective to key stakeholders, including the media, investors, sell‑side analysts, employees, regulators, supply chain and beyond. Partnering with wider account teams to ensure seamless delivery for our clients, including deliverables such as: Strategic communications plans, Corporate narrative and equity story drafts, Key messages, Q&A, media briefings, consensus tracker, Engagement with key audiences including media, influencers, sell‑side and more, Event attendance, coordination and logistics.
- Team Leadership and Account Management Contribute regularly to shape team strategies to enhance and cultivate existing client relationships. Managing the development of materials by playing a leading role in drafting documents with high attention to detail, and managing junior and senior colleagues to ensure account deliverables are executed in a timely manner. Interfacing regularly with clients in an advisory and executional capacity. Flexibility to be engaged in high‑profile fast‑moving situations with short deadlines.
- Relationship Building and Market Leadership Develop strong relationships with clients and potential clients. Create strong relationships with stakeholders including industry bodies, think‑tanks, policymakers, bankers, sell‑side analysts and more. Grow your network of journalist contacts.
