The Technical team are looking for a Digital & Sustainability Lead to provide sustainability and digital support for internal colleagues, liaise with the global and ECA teams to ensure sustainability and digital strategies are rolled out in the GB marketplace, assist with technical projects, engage with customers alongside technical and commercial teams to provide digital and sustainability platform support for the ruminant portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the technical team to develop the digital and sustainability strategy for the GB market.
- Provide technical support for internal colleagues including product advice/creation/amendment, project development.
- Assist in technical support for the formulations team, including technical checking formulations, specification creation, training, customer spec creations and general nutritional support.
- Specialise in sustainability in the ruminant sector.
- Involvement in the development of local/global technical innovation, products and solutions to benefit the future of the GB market.
- Support internal procedures such as trials, laboratory data review, formulation package management, campaign development and nutritional training.
- Keep up to date with sustainability legislature and feedback relevant information to technical and sales teams.
- Keep up to date with the latest research from relevant scientific journals, conduct regular reviews on literature to present back to the wider technical team.
- Support the technical team with customer specific sustainability and digital projects.
- Develop the digital service offering, including managing invoicing, managing platform development, engaging stakeholders and driving the TNGB digital strategy alongside the technical team.
To succeed in this role you will have a degree in Animal Nutrition or similar or have experience in the ruminant nutrition sector with an understanding of the farming industry. In addition, you will have a background or knowledge of sustainability in farming systems and agriculture and have the confidence to present to internal and external stakeholders.
