We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delivery Manager to join our market leading consulting practice, specialising in front office projects within the consumer goods industry. As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of client engagements, managing project teams, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our clients’ front office operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with major consumer goods companies, lead transformative projects, and contribute to the growth and success of our practice.

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

What your days will look like:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of front office projects within the consumer goods sector, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, define project scope, and develop project plans and strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance and expertise on front office practices and industry trends.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development and effective project execution.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Effectively communicate project progress, manage expectations, and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise their impact.
  • Proactively monitor project performance, identify deviations from plans, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance project management methodologies and delivery processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify new opportunities and contribute to proposal development.
  • Participate in client presentations and engage in business development activities to support the growth of the practice.

This role is for you if:

  • You have significant experience in Consumer Goods front office industry OR equivalent experience in consulting roles.
  • You have the ability to comfortably navigate between business and tech topics.
  • You have delivery experience of 2-3 commercial transformation projects, including x-market scope.
  • You can demonstrate leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and inspire cross-functional project teams.
  • You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to identify opportunities and provide innovative solutions.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
  • Functional expertise in TPM and REx.
