We are hiring a Commercial Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to senior Sales and Finance leadership across our International business. This highly visible, high-impact role is for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives at the intersection of pricing, deals, customer strategy, contracts and AI-enabled decision making. This role has material influence on deal outcomes, revenue quality, and long-term customer value. The successful candidate will operate as the “right hand” to the VP Business Finance, combining strong financial acumen with commercial judgment and the confidence to advise and challenge senior stakeholders.

How will you make an impact?

  • Deal & Pricing Partnership: Review and advise on complex new, renewal, and expansion deals, including pricing, discounting, deal structure, and commercial risk. Partner with Sales to develop commercially sound pricing and negotiation strategies that balance growth, margin, and long-term value. Assess non-standard deal constructs (ramps, free periods, opt-outs, minimum commitments, SLA exposure) and recommend practical alternatives. Support large or material opportunities through formal deal review and executive approval processes.
  • Commercial Advisory to Sales: Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership, providing clear, concise commercial guidance throughout the sales cycle. Translate financial and contractual implications into actionable recommendations for non-finance stakeholders. Influence outcomes by identifying deal structures that improve win probability while protecting revenue and margin.
  • AI-Driven Commercial Insight: Actively use AI tools to enhance deal review, pricing analysis, customer insights, and forecasting quality. Identify opportunities to apply AI to automate or improve commercial finance processes, decision support, and stakeholder reporting. Partner with the business to experiment, learn, and embed AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Revenue, Customer Health & Commercial Risk: Analyse revenue, margin, and cash flow impacts of deal structures, including revenue recognition considerations. Review customer financial health, contract performance, pricing sustainability, and renewal risk. Identify early indicators of revenue leakage, margin erosion, churn risk, or contractual exposure and partner with Sales and Customer teams on mitigation actions.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Experienced in Commercial Finance, Deal Finance, or Sales Finance, ideally in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven at supporting complex, high-value deals and partnering closely with Sales.
  • Comfortable and enthusiastic in the practical use of AI to improve insight, efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Commercially sharp, pragmatic, and confident operating in grey areas.
  • Strong stakeholder able to advise and constructively challenge senior leaders.
  • Able to simplify complex financial, contractual, and data-driven insights into clear commercial advice.

Why This Role

  • High exposure to senior leadership and strategic deals.
  • Direct influence on revenue quality, pricing discipline, and long-term customer value.
  • Opportunity to operate as a true commercial partner, not a transactional finance role.

If you’re motivated by impact, commercial judgement, and influencing business outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.
