Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $200B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology.

As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.

About the Role: We’re looking for a highly consultative Field Trainer to lead impactful, in-person training that accelerates early clinical success with Dandy’s digital dentistry solutions. This role is field-based, with up to 80% travel, and is focused on helping dental practices adopt intraoral scanning and digital workflows with confidence.

You’ll serve as a trusted clinical advisor to dentists, practice managers, and operational leaders—helping teams adopt new technology, digital workflows, improve clinical performance, and accelerate early success. This role combines clinical training expertise with operational execution and post-training insight to deliver measurable value at the intersection of training, technology, and practice growth.

Success in this role comes from your ability to earn clinical trust and turn that trust into action — helping practices move from curiosity to confidence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Training Delivery & Clinical Coaching: Lead high-touch, in-person trainings to support dentists and staff in adopting intraoral scanning and digital workflows. Coach teams based on live observation, reinforcing best practices and adapting in real time to meet the practice’s goals and maturity level. Take ownership of each practice’s success, driving early case submission by removing blockers, reinforcing clinical urgency, and building confidence during and immediately after training.
  • Clinical Advisory & Post-Training Analysis: Partner with clinicians and practice leaders to reinforce scanning habits and support early adoption. Monitor outcomes in the first 30 days and surface targeted coaching opportunities to accelerate success. Share field insights to inform scalable resources, improve onboarding, and strengthen future trainings.
  • Practice Readiness & Operational Alignment: Assess readiness across clinical workflows, team structure, and equipment to proactively surface blockers or risks. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the right resources, messaging, and tools are in place before training day. Customize training strategies based on practice size, complexity, and clinical goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Clinical Training Experience: 3+ years of experience delivering clinical training in digital dentistry or dental technology, with strong familiarity with intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
  • Clinical Advisor: Skilled at earning confidence from clinicians and staff by connecting clinical value to real-world outcomes.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness and enthusiasm to travel up to 80% to deliver in-practice training and support.
  • Proximity to Travel Hubs: Located near a major airport or transport hub.
  • Leadership Presence: Comfortable partnering with senior leaders, clinicians, and staff across roles to influence behavior and drive adoption.
  • In-Person Agility: Comfortable operating independently in the field, adjusting plans in real-time based on practice dynamics and needs.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to adjust tone and approach based on audience—whether working with hygienists or C-suite stakeholders.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for helping practices succeed, with a solutions-oriented approach to onboarding, training, and adoption.
