As an Electronic Repair Technician in our Cheltenham Aftermarket environment, you will be responsible for the repair, modification, and overhaul of electronic avionic assemblies and printed circuit boards, supporting a range of civil and military customers. This role requires strong technical fault‑finding skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, compliance, and traceability throughout the repair process. It is a hands‑on, technically challenging position within an operational environment focused on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Essential Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults to component level and carry out repairs as required.
- Operate manual and automated test equipment to support fault diagnosis and verification.
- Support engineering and quality investigations, as well as project work, when required.
- Follow detailed technical instructions and interpret complex digital and analogue electronic circuit diagrams.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, ensuring traceability, compliance, and process adherence are maintained at all times.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Proven experience in the fault diagnosis, testing, and repair of electronic components.
- Demonstrated ability to use technical manuals, engineering drawings, and supporting documentation to carry out diagnostic and repair activities.
- Minimum of ONC qualification, completed apprenticeship, or equivalent level of knowledge and practical experience.
- Good PC literacy and ability to use relevant systems and software.
