Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Contracts Negotiator to join our Government Contracts team. This role will support contract lifecycle activities for U.S. Government defense programs, working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Interface with government and prime customers on routine contractual matters.
  • Review and analyze RFPs/RFQs for compliance and risk; prepare proposal documentation and pricing support.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions under supervision, including delivery schedules.
  • Support Cost or Pricing Data (Truthful Cost or Pricing Data statute; formerly TINA) requirements, sweeps, and certifications; coordinate fact‑finding and DCAA/DCMA interactions.
  • Review contract modifications and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with contract closeout and reporting requirements.
  • Guide internal stakeholders on contractual interpretation, risk posture, and change management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of government contracting experience, specifically Department of Defense.
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and TINA/CCOPD.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Benefits

Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. Expected wage range for a new hire: $82,400 to $113,300. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance‑based bonus based on personal and company factors. Includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time.
