AI Enablement Specialist

As the AI Enablement Specialist, you will lead the adoption, optimization, and scaling of the Axis internal AI tool and broader AI initiatives across the Americas region. You are not just a technical administrator; you are a change agent who understands how to translate complex AI capabilities into tangible productivity gains for our employees. You will collaborate closely with the global IT team and regional business leaders to ensure our AI roadmap aligns with Axis’s core values and strategic goals. This role is based in our Chelmsford, MA office.

Responsibilities

  • Build and implement an AI enablement strategy across Americas business units in conjunction with our global team which includes awareness, driving adoption, ongoing training & communications, and measuring results
  • Provide first-line technical and operational support to internal end-users to help accelerate the adoption of internal Gen AI tools
  • Develop and deliver user training sessions, workshops, and documentation tailored to different departments, users, personas and skill levels
  • Support users in understanding how to structure prompts effectively and build agents to support their day-to-day work
  • Identify opportunities in existing business processes and propose AI-driven solutions or workflows to increase efficiency and data accuracy
  • Partner with department leadership to identify high-impact AI use cases and track the ROI/value of AI implementation within teams
  • Collect and synthesize regional user feedback to influence the global development roadmap, ensuring the needs of the Americas region are represented
  • Assist end-users in identifying processes that can be made more efficient using AI tools
  • Keep abreast of changes in the AI landscape and communicate and make recommendations

Desired qualifications

  • 5+ years in technology enablement, IT, Business Analysis, or Digital Transformation
  • Understanding of generative AI mechanics, including prompt engineering and the ethical implications of AI
  • Proficiency with Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar platforms)
  • Focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI integration a plus
  • Familiarity with integrating AI into existing platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Salesforce, or Jira)
  • Experience successfully creating and deploying AI agents
  • Trainer / instructor experience a pro

Physical Demands and Travel

  • Employee is occasionally required to lift 20-25 lbs.
  • Expected travel is 15-20% including international travel

Target Salary

The approximate pay range for this role is $100-115K OTE.
