The Content & Digital Training Leader will be accountable for implementation of the digital training strategy. They will lead, prioritize & structure the content development for their modality across the region to ensure customer training readiness for the GEHC product portfolio. They will influence region and modality clinical stakeholders across all levels of the organization. A successful candidate is a great communicator, skilled at collaboration and creating alignment. They will be adept with learning techniques and able to teach others through different methods. They will combine these soft skills with their clinical expertise and find purpose in applying both, to enable others to educate and engage customers through digital education.

Their day-to-day responsibilities include content development, coaching and providing ongoing support of digital training programmes. They will work in close collaboration with the Clinical Education Training & Content Manager, the modality Training Leaders and act as a regional Clinical Education Ambassador. This position is open to applicants within the International Region.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Lead, prioritize, & structure the content development for their modality in the region. In collaboration with the Global Modality team and the regional Training Leader, identify and prioritize operational needs including content creation for NPIs and CES coaching and development. Create and deploy high quality and compelling educational content using the latest tools including PowerPoint, Articulate 360, Vyond and Camtasia. Manage and maintain clear documentation and content repositories, including content management systems, and ensure content is well organised and easily accessible. Act as a modality SME for the content approval process. Lead content translation processes. Support Learning Management System content upload and maintenance. Maintain modality expertise and a working product knowledge both onsite and virtually, to develop a deep understanding of the customer needs and ways to improve. Explore and test latest technology approaches and implement the most pertinent to engage deeper customer engagement and improved content productivity. Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the company’s style guide and voice across all content deliverables.
  • Coaching: Enable CES (Clinical Education Specialist) adoption of a digital training approach through training, coaching, and demonstration. Provide mentoring and support (remotely/face to face) to the wider CED team where needed.
  • Digital Training Programmes: Collaborate with modality partners and stakeholders, and peers to create a digital education approach, including tools, content, and programmes that align to the business needs, customer needs, and current capabilities. Support and improve existing digital education initiatives and programmes. Creatively activate the virtual appetite within the respective modality/segment and showcase solutions to internal and external audiences. When necessary, deliver online training & troubleshooting sessions to ensure customer’s safe and effective use of GE HealthCare equipment, maximising image quality and productivity. Partner with the global product and engineering teams to integrate digital/virtual clinical expertise and customer insights into future product development.
  • Other: Serve as a link between the International Clinical Education community and the Global/Region modality - ensure commercial & marketing messages are conveyed in the field. Influence region and modality clinical stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Proactively seek feedback from internal and external stakeholders and apply a continuous improvement mindset. Support the operations & business needs of the Clinical Education department. Develop customer intimacy to engage KOL’s in Education initiatives. Collaborate across functions to support conference/symposium/webinars representing GE HealthCare. Demonstrate a quality mindset, maintaining and implementing processes as part of the Quality Management System.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience as a Healthcare Professional or equivalent.
  • Expert practical experience in X-Ray, Mammography and/or DEXA.
  • Proven expertise utilizing remote training/educational tools.
  • Working knowledge and healthy curiosity of current healthcare market trends.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage with colleagues and customers at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to accelerate change and process improvements.
  • Fluent in English (Other languages desirable).
  • Ability to develop and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives.
