The Team
As Global Asset Lead, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, opportunity identification and partnership with in-country teams to stabilize and grow Mundipharma’s portfolio of established brands - from development through commercialisation where relevant. Reporting to the VP Global Strategic Marketing, you will play a key role in shaping portfolio strategy, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring the assets deliver value to patients and the business. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across global teams.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the integrated portfolio and strategy: Own end-to-end planning and execution across development, launch, and commercialisation.
- Act as the central point of accountability for asset performance and lifecycle planning, and growth initiatives.
- Identify and leverage growth opportunities to preserve and grow the portfolio value.
- Work with countries to conduct in depth assessment, map patient journey, channel flow, financial flows to identify growth levers.
- Monitor and map market dynamics at a global level and in the country in partnership with data and analytics teams.
- Anticipate and address challenges relative to the asset (development, launch, commercialization, cross border trade, generic entry, generic strategy, HCO engagement, tender opportunities, amongst others).
- Drive cross-functional alignment: Establish and lead a high-performing asset team across R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, and Commercial.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and stakeholder needs to inform strategic decisions. Identify opportunities for differentiation and long-term value creation.
- Engage with global markets: Work closely with regional and local teams to ensure market relevance and readiness.
- Deliver strategic insights: Present to executive leadership (EXCO) with recommendations, forecasts, and performance updates.
- Manage performance: Oversee asset budgets, track milestones, and ensure delivery within timelines and financial targets.
- Stakeholder engagement: Represent Mundipharma with key opinion leaders (KOLs), regulatory bodies, and potential partners.
What you’ll bring
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MBA or equivalent) in life sciences, medicine, or business.
- Established experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with significant experience in asset leadership, strategic marketing, or lifecycle management.
- Previous experience with an Established Brands portfolio.
- Therapeutic area expertise in pain and respiratory is a plus.
- Strong global commercial background; country-level experience a plus.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
- In-depth understanding of global regulatory pathways and product approval processes.
- Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence senior stakeholders.
- Track record of successful global launches and external partnerships.
- Experience in global established product strategy.
- Familiarity with biotech innovation and external partnerships.
