We are looking for a Senior Account Handler within our Health & Care Team. This person will support their Team to deliver a comprehensive service in the administration of new business, renewal and mid‑term changes – all to ensure our customers’ needs are best met through suitable cover and pricing.
What you’ll do:
- Regularly monitoring renewals and new business activity to aid effective planning and resourcing.
- Supervising the prompt and accurate production of documentation to best meet our client’s needs.
- Responding to market and third‑party queries, proposing and producing high quality market documentation that meets our team’s needs.
- Organising your own work activities to ensure both your personal and team objectives are achieved.
- Work closely alongside the Account Executive to manage and service the book throughout the year, ensuring seamless coordination, timely follow‑up, and proactive support across all client and project needs.
- Maintaining appropriate client files and credit control, liaising with our support technicians and IBA as and when required.
Who we’re looking for:
- We are ideally seeking someone with experience in Health & Care insurance, though strong candidates from other insurance backgrounds will also be considered.
- Someone with a customer‑focused approach, able to work independently and flexibly to achieve tight deadlines.
- An analytical yet approachable standout colleague, keen to build sustainable relationships with his team and clients alike.
- Someone willing to learn and teach junior members of the team alike.
- If you’re working towards or have attained ACII status, this is desirable (but not required!).
- Attainment of the LLMIT (the Lloyd’s and London Market Introductory Test), where relevant to the role.
