Perini Management Services Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Construction Quality Control (CQC) Manager to join our team in RAF Lakenheath, UK. As a Construction QC Manager at Perini Management Services, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Implement and maintain the approved CQC Plan.
  • Develop an understanding & working knowledge of the company quality control program, industry standards, procedures, etc. required to perform assigned work.
  • Manage and review shop drawings and product submittal process.
  • Plan, schedule and execute the USACE Three-Phases of Control QC Program.
  • Perform quality control inspections and witness tests to determine acceptability of work.
  • Assist in maintaining project execution records, inspection records and other related CQC documentation requirements while verifying accuracy of all documentation.
  • Participate in internal and/or external quality control audits.
  • Prepare and submit Daily CQC Reports.
  • Manage the inspection of material shipments for specification & submittal compliance.
  • Facilitate construction execution through proactive CQC performance.
  • Coordinate and schedule third-party inspectors & commissioning agents.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • Experience to include at least ten years construction experience as a Project Superintendent, CQC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager. At least four of the ten years’ experience must be as CQC Manager.
  • Hold a current Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) registration in the United States or United Kingdom. An applicant with at least 15 years of construction experience in the roles referenced above may be considered without a PE or RA registration.
  • Be familiar with USACE Safety & Health Requirements Manual 385-1-1.
  • Hold current certificate of completion of USACE QC Management for Contractors Course.
  • Have experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance and sustainability.
  • Experience with U.S. Federal Government Clients is preferred.
