We’re looking for a Senior Category Management Consultant who expects more from their career. It’s a chance to work on a large scale project, supporting Commercial teams at Waitrose. This is a hybrid working role at our Waitrose head office in Bracknell. This is a 12 month FTC, with the potential for this to be extended / made permanent.

Responsibilities

  • Joining our Retail team, you’ll work with world class and passionate people to bring the customer to the forefront of decisions made at Waitrose.
  • Externally, you will lead the delivery of category management recommendations to commercial teams at Waitrose, and work with SRM on how to bring those to life.
  • Internally, you will work across our solutions and in partnership with applied data scientists to develop agile solutions.

What we expect from you

  • Experience in leading the delivery of projects that involve multiple stakeholders and complex questions.
  • Experience in building client relationships and managing stakeholders.
  • Experience in embedding customer solutions into your client’s decision making.
  • Experience in an FMCG retailer, supplier or consultancy.
  • Commercial acumen to identify opportunities for our client and dunnhumby.
  • Ability to look at data critically, interpret it and present insight and actions to client.
  • Category Management experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills desirable, but not essential.
  • On site with clients up to 3 days a week.
