The role of the Warehouse Team Member is to carry out work related to the warehousing of parts in line with pre‑determined standards to include transportation of goods using forklift trucks.
Key Accountabilities and Activities- Warehouse Layout: To warehouse goods in a layout compatible with JIT protocol.
- Transfer of Goods: To transfer finished goods from production lines to warehouse in line with work instructions.
- Maintain Equipment: To maintain warehouse equipment to required standard.
- Transport Goods: To transport and warehouse goods using forklift trucks and other related equipment.
- Customer Shipments: To re‑pack and prepare shipments for customers.
- Specific experience in warehouse type work, ideally within a similar industry.
- Secondary education level.
- Completion of Hitachi Battery of Tests.
- Fork lift truck licence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and organise own workload efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
You may, from time to time, be required to carry out any other duties outside of this job description as deemed appropriate by your line manager.
