The Supply Chain Analyst for Vision Care will play a critical role in optimizing and managing the supply chain operations to ensure the efficient flow of products, materials, and information. This position involves analyzing supply chain data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. The analyst will collaborate across departments, including customer care, operations, finance and commercial, to drive data‑driven decision‑making and ensure alignment with ZEISS’s corporate values.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory levels, lead times, and service levels.
- Supply Chain lead for End to End weekly reporting and monitoring processes.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision‑making.
- Key support to Supply Chain Manager on Supply Chain Processes including customs management and inbound logistics.
Inventory and Order Management
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Order management lead for lens cleaning products.
- Setup of processes for new customers and new SKUs.
- Support Supply Chain Business Partner with supply planning, inbound logistics and warehousing at 3PL.
- Collaborate with stock room on order generation process.
- Support the Supply Chain Team with demand planning activity.
Process Optimization
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in supply chain processes and recommend improvements.
- Implement lean principles and other methodologies to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including customer care, operations, finance, commercial and marketing, to align supply chain operations with business goals.
- Act as a liaison between final mile logistics provider (DX) and Customer Care Team to ensure smooth communication and coordination with ECP customers.
Risk Management
- Assess supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Support Supply Chain Business Partner with ensuring Quality Management Systems are up to date for Supply Chain Team.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
Technology & Systems
- Utilize supply chain management software and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support the integration of new technologies and systems to improve data accuracy and decision‑making.
Essential Criteria
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
