  • Preparing and presenting claims documentation to underwriters and responding to technical queries.
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records on internal systems.
  • Leading negotiations on claims settlements to achieve efficient outcomes for clients.
  • Supervising delegated authority contracts and ensuring efficient management.
  • Providing expert mentorship and updates to clients throughout the claims process.
  • Contributing to internal projects and supporting wider team objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company procedures.
  • Being responsible for the processing of collections, payments, and related data.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confident working independently and making informed decisions.
  • Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced team members.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to A‑Level standard (grades A–C or equivalent).
  • Progression toward professional qualifications (e.g. CII) is desirable but not crucial.
