About the Opportunity: The Invoice Finance Team plays a key part of the cash‑flow solution for many trading businesses and is a growth product both within LBG and the UK generally, making this an exciting area for career development within the wider Group. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Invoice Finance / ABL Sales Director to join our team. This senior role requires a strong regional presence in the marketplace to identify and deliver high‑quality new business opportunities through the design and implementation of bespoke invoice finance solutions. The role involves supporting businesses – new and existing clients with turnovers from £25 million to £100m and implementing Invoice Finance / ABL facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage, develop and deliver new Invoice Finance and ABL opportunities in the Mid Corporate sector (£25m – £150m turnover – mid‑tier companies, multinational corporates, etc.).
  • Foster strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive Invoice Finance and ABL opportunities and long‑term growth.
  • Analyse and evaluate the feasibility and relevance of proposed financial requirements, then develop and provide an Invoice Finance / ABL solution as necessary, with guidance from senior colleagues and supervision from the financial product development team.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with coverage colleagues and key business introducers to ensure effective delivery.
  • Lead the structuring of financial solutions and negotiate deals to drive success.

  • Successful track record in providing Invoice Finance / ABL facilities.
  • Strong credit assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex financial information and structure appropriate solutions.
  • Commercially proficient with validated experience of leading strategic, high‑value transactions from origination through to execution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence to engage credibly at senior levels internally and externally.
