A day in the life. As our Account Manager (or other service role, DOE) on the Energy Commercial Lines team, you’ll be primarily responsible for constant customer interaction that is heavily focused on customer service of mid to large sized accounts. You will make independent decisions (while working on a team), while adhering to standards, processes and procedures. Day to day duties will include:
- New and Renewal Business – Assist Producers and Marketing Team with creating Pre-renewal presentations, information gathering, preparing submissions, receiving/preparing quotes, updating marketing results and coverage comparisons, bind process, including collecting subjectivities and assist Team Support with surplus lines filings, Certificates and Auto ID card issuance.
- General Account Management – Binder and Policy tracking, review and delivery, process endorsements, audits, including billing, assist with client requests and maintains client files in appropriate systems.
Our future colleague. We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
- 3-7 or more years of relevant Commercial insurance industry experience.
- Appropriate insurance license required.
- Strong client relations skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients, internal teams and market contacts.
- Excellent communication skills and service oriented, willingness to work with teammate to resolve client and company issues.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Advanced degree.
- Certification or designation.
- Experience with Requests for Proposal.
- Experience working on multi-layered accounts, London and Bermuda markets, energy industry, a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency in use of Sagitta and/or ImageRight.
