As we progress on our journey to becoming an apprenticeship training provider, we are seeking a skilled Data Coach to support the delivery and development of our Level 3 Data Technician and Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship programmes. This role offers the opportunity to help shape how data skills are developed within the organisation, combining technical coaching with programme build and innovation. You will play a key role in ensuring our data apprenticeships remain current, relevant and aligned to modern data practices.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Deliver coaching and assessment for Level 3 Data Technician and Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship programmes
  • Support apprentices to apply data skills effectively in real business contexts
  • Contribute to the design, build and ongoing enhancement of data apprenticeship curriculum and resources
  • Stay ahead of emerging data trends, tools and methodologies, ensuring content reflects current and future industry needs
  • Track learner progress and provide clear, actionable feedback
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with apprentices and employers
  • Ensure learner records and evidence meet ESFA and quality standards
  • Prepare apprentices for gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Actively contribute to the growth and maturity of our apprenticeship provision

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong background in data analysis or data-focused roles
  • Experience with relevant tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python or similar
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging learning
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting learners (formal or informal)
  • A proactive mindset with enthusiasm for innovation and continuous improvement

Qualifications (or willingness to work towards):

  • Data-related qualification at Level 4 or above, or equivalent industry experience
  • Assessor qualification (CAVA/TAQA) or willingness to work towards
  • Coaching qualification (desirable)
  • Maths & English at Level 2 or equivalent
