Internship: Process / Project Engineering (HBV Projects) Internship, 2027.

Education required: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering disciplines (Chemical & Biomolecular, Civil / Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Pharmaceutical, etc.).

Language: English.

Internship period: January to June 2027.

Enrollment: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of the internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship.

What will you do?

You will work on the product and process transfer project for one of GSK’s top selling products (HBV).

As an HBV Project Intern, you will participate in ongoing projects, develop skills, and gain experience in the biopharmaceuticals industry.

  • You will be involved in
  • Support the Design, Construction, and Commissioning of new vaccine manufacturing facilities, including process, utilities, building services, electrical, and/or instruments depending on the field of study of the successful candidate.
  • Collaborate with GSK Work Package Managers to test and commission the new vaccine manufacturing facilities and systems to ensure that design intent and specifications are met.
  • Assist in the development and creation of training matrices for project teams and Work Package managers, as well as documentation associated with change control processes.
  • Support the management of project documentation, from initiation to handover, meeting all milestones within the project program to ensure timely project progression.

  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices (c GMP) in biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • General understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes
  • Facility and equipment design, construction, and commissioning in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Gain exposure to Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects involving the transformation of existing facilities to manufacture new products.
  • Project management frameworks for CAPEX projects.
  • Change control management for facility, utilities, and equipment design.
  • Training and documentation management for CAPEX project teams.
