As our Workday Reporting Analyst, you’ll provide reporting support across Workday HCM and Workday Finance, helping HR, Finance and leaders make informed decisions using accurate and timely data. You’ll play a key role in developing, maintaining and improving the Workday reporting suite, producing MI that supports workforce planning, financial insight and operational decision‑making. This role balances day‑to‑day reporting support alongside project and improvement work. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to ensure reporting is consistent, trusted and easy to use, whilst also helping to improve data quality and reduce the need for manual reports.

Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:

  • Developing, maintaining and optimising reports in Workday across both HCM and Financial Management
  • Building cross‑functional and integrated reports using calculated fields, business objects and data sources to meet HR and Finance reporting requirements
  • Partnering with HR, Finance and wider stakeholders to deliver operational, management and regulatory reporting, clearly communicating insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Identifying data discrepancies and supporting data validation and cleansing activities to improve data quality, reporting consistency and system adoption
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to automate or streamline reporting, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency
  • Maintaining clear and robust documentation for reporting logic, definitions and processes

Essential skills/experience:

  • Strong hands‑on experience building reports in Workday HCM and Workday Financial Management
  • Proven ability to design and deliver advanced Workday reports, including complex calculated fields and data from multiple Workday sources
  • Experience supporting reporting in a complex organisation
  • Strong PowerBI and Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning and/or experience building AI tools from Workday sources is highly desirable
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain and translate complex data clearly and confidently
