As part of our Networks & Drainage Solutions team, you’ll help deliver sustainable, resilient, and innovative civil engineering solutions that support communities and protect the environment. Due to continued framework successes, we’re looking for a Civil Engineering Technician who is passionate about water, drainage, and infrastructure to join our Water and Wastewater team in Belfast.
Our collaborative and multi-disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services alongside water mains design, drainage design, SuDS and surface water management. Our wide variety of clients span across the UK and internationally and include water companies, local authorities, highways authorities, Network Rail and developers.
Your role:
- Create and manage accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for civil infrastructure (roads, drainage, utilities) using AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
- Conduct hydraulic and SuDS design using Causeway Flow and MicroDrainage.
- Collaborate across the team for design integration and quality control.
- Assist with design review, production detailing, and fabrication drawings.
- Mentor junior technicians, providing technical oversight and guidance.
- Adhere to design standards.
