Field Service Engineer responsible for preventative maintenance on a variety of material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and rectify faults on forklift trucks and warehouse equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts, pallet trucks, counterbalance trucks, very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks, and automated trucks.
- Service Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
- Maintain accurate service records using IT equipment.
- Work independently and as part of a team across the London and Oxford areas.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering background.
- Experience as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician, or similar role.
- Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners is an advantage.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence (required for field and resident engineers).
- Comfort with IT equipment and accurate record keeping.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
