Field Service Engineer responsible for preventative maintenance on a variety of material handling equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and rectify faults on forklift trucks and warehouse equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts, pallet trucks, counterbalance trucks, very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks, and automated trucks.
  • Service Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
  • Maintain accurate service records using IT equipment.
  • Work independently and as part of a team across the London and Oxford areas.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering background.
  • Experience as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician, or similar role.
  • Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners is an advantage.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence (required for field and resident engineers).
  • Comfort with IT equipment and accurate record keeping.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
