Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the AI strategy and roadmap for Nasdaq Trade Surveillance, ensuring alignment with product and business priorities.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to translate strategic vision into scalable AI-enabled capabilities across detection, investigation, and automation.
- Act as a senior AI leader across the organization, influencing stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Sales while representing AI capabilities to clients and external audiences.
- Lead and scale a high-performing, multidisciplinary team spanning AI Engineering, Data Science, and Research, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Establish robust, production-grade AI practices, including model deployment, monitoring, explainability, and governance aligned with enterprise standards.
- Drive integration of AI into core surveillance workflows, ensuring scalable, compliant solutions that strengthen Nasdaq’s ability to detect and investigate market abuse.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive leadership experience in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics, with proven success in building and scaling high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated track record of defining and delivering AI strategies and solutions at scale within complex, enterprise environments.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including external stakeholders and clients.
- Experience operating across both strategic and hands-on domains, contributing to innovation while leading delivery of production-grade solutions.
- Deep understanding of governance, compliance, and working within regulated environments, with experience establishing AI governance or model risk frameworks.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver impactful outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial markets, trading, or trade surveillance environments.

This position is based in London and offers a hybrid work environment with at least 3 days per week in-office, subject to change.
