Team Overview
LaSalle Global Solutions (“GS”) manages c. US$13bn in client capital and invests with local managers and operating partners across the world. GS investments span the risk spectrum and are implemented through fund investments, co-investments, joint-ventures and separate accounts. GS has a global team of employees based in the Chicago, New York, Baltimore, London and Singapore offices and is supported by LaSalle’s extensive regional and global specialists covering Research & Strategy, Legal, HR, Accounting & Finance, Tax, and a global Investor Relations team.
Role and Accountabilities
- Analyse real estate data at property, fund, portfolio and market level
- Manage the due diligence process for new investments
- Manage existing investments, meeting with managers, conducting asset inspections, and regularly updating buy/hold/sell analysis
- Assist Portfolio Managers with formulating mandate strategies and the day-to-day management of client portfolios
- Support Portfolio Managers with client presentations and meetings
- Contribute to, and draft, both internal and external reporting.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 6-7 years’ experience
- Fluency in English and an additional European language is preferred
- BSc or preferably a master’s degree in an analytical discipline, such as Property, Finance, or Investment related
- Knowledge and understanding of the real estate investment industry
- Previous work experience in real estate, ideally either finance or investment focus
- An analytical approach with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
