Checkout.com is looking for a driven Associate to become a core member of our Safeguarding Policy and Client Assets team. This role is crucial for developing and strengthening our global safeguarding capabilities.
About You: Key Skills and Experience
- To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in the financial services sector, specifically in treasury, finance, regulatory, legal, or risk management.
- Regulatory Expertise: You must be eager to interpret and implement complex regulations and rules, demonstrating a strong understanding of compliance frameworks.
- Treasury Knowledge: A solid grasp of treasury concepts is essential, including cash management and Foreign Exchange (FX), along with the associated risks and controls.
- Project Ownership: You must have proven experience in owning and delivering challenging project initiatives with a high degree of independence.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: You should possess strong communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to build and leverage effective cross-functional relationships.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with financial safeguarding, particularly CASS 7, and previous work at an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) or Payment Service Provider (PSP) are highly desirable.
