The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

Key Objectives of the role include:

  • To provide a professional archiving service in relation to the records and images contained within Nucleus and to meet any public records requirements on behalf of all stakeholders.

Expectations:

  • Provide training and development where required.
  • HR duties including return to work interviews and approving annual leave.
  • Ensure Helpdesk is adequately covered and requests, accessions, retrievals and destructions are fulfilled within the expected timeframe.
  • Allocate tasks to the team to ensure objectives are met.
  • Ensure department and individual targets are consistently met.

Responsibilities:

  • Always maintain high safety and security awareness.
  • Maintain compliance with Information Security as per the Nucleus and NDA Information Security Policy.
  • Liaise with NDA, other stakeholders and members of the public via email, telephone or letter requests.
  • Document and file storage record management.
  • Accessioning new document collections to the archive.
  • Document destruction process and shredding.
  • Data input into the Archive Management System.
  • Operate essential equipment, e.g. scanners, in a competent and responsible manner.
  • Work with the warehouse team to locate files requested through the Helpdesk and obtain location information for boxes.
  • Collect team data and statistics monthly.
  • Conduct spot checks and musters on controlled documents.
  • Control the movement of controlled documents.
  • Maintain all paperwork concerning controlled documents.

Location: The role will be predominantly based at our Wick site; however, travel to Hensingham and Warrington may be required. Travel expenses will be covered.
