You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to build robust, scalable, and secure digital asset products that meet our business and technical requirements.
Role Description
- Support the analysis and delivery of digital asset integration initiatives, working under the direction of senior analysts, product managers, and architects.
- Partner with Digital Asset Product, Technology, Architecture, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to help translate business, regulatory, and operational requirements into clear and implementable integration requirements.
- Analyse and document integration requirements across APIs, event streams, batch processes, and data pipelines for assigned workstreams or components.
- Produce and maintain high‑quality analysis artefacts, including functional and non‑functional requirements, interface specifications, data mappings, reconciliation logic, and system interaction diagrams.
- Contribute to defining on‑chain and off‑chain data flows, supporting consistency, traceability, and auditability across platforms and downstream systems.
- Support Agile / Scrum delivery by contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and the breakdown of integration requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Assist with integration testing and UAT activities, including scenario definition, data validation, defect triage, and root cause analysis.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with risk, control, and regulatory expectations, escalating issues where gaps or concerns are identified.
- Support multiple initiatives in parallel, maintaining strong attention to detail, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Contribute to post‑implementation support, operational handover, and continuous improvement of digital asset integration capabilities.
Core/Must have skills
- Experience as a Business Analyst or Integration Analyst within digital assets or adjacent financial services domains (e.g. custody, fund services, settlement, trading, tokenisation, or market infrastructure).
- Working knowledge of integration architectures relevant to digital assets, including API‑based integrations (REST / JSON, event‑driven APIs), messaging and streaming patterns, and batch and near‑real‑time data processing.
- Proven ability to produce detailed analysis artefacts, including functional and non‑functional requirements, interface and integration specifications, data mappings, transformation rules, and reconciliation logic, and end‑to‑end system interaction or sequence diagrams.
- Good understanding of core digital asset concepts, including on‑chain vs off‑chain data models, transaction lifecycles, balances, and positions, reference data, pricing, and valuation inputs, and data lineage, controls, and auditability.
- Experience working closely with solution architects and engineering teams, contributing to design discussions and validating solutions against requirements.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments, supporting Product Owners and delivery teams with backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
- Hands‑on experience supporting integration testing and validation, including defining and executing integration and UAT scenarios, supporting defect triage and root cause analysis, and validating data consistency across systems.
- Aware of risk, control, and regulatory considerations relevant to digital assets, including operational resilience and data integrity.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain technical requirements to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Good to have skills
- Exposure to digital asset platforms or technologies, such as digital custody platforms, blockchain or distributed ledger technologies, and tokenisation or smart‑contract‑enabled platforms.
- Basic understanding of security and key management concepts (e.g. wallet models, signing workflows, segregation of duties).
- Familiarity with cloud‑native or hybrid architectures supporting financial services platforms.
- Experience working in evolving or early‑stage product environments, where processes, controls, and operating models are still maturing.
