The role is based in London, UK, and is a key member of the Total Rewards team, responsible for the strategic delivery and operational excellence of our retirement and health programs across the EMEA region. The role ensures our programs in the UK, Austria, Germany, Singapore and other regional hubs remain market‑leading, compliant, and supportive of employee well‑being. This role requires a specialist who can pivot between high‑level vendor strategy and meticulous administrative execution. This role reports to: Head, Total Rewards. Hybrid arrangement: 2‑3 days per week in the office.

Key Accountabilities

  • Pension Responsibilities
    • Plan Governance: Manage the governance and compliance of all regional pension schemes, ensuring alignment with local regulations (e.g., UK Pensions Regulator).
    • Strategic Evaluation: Support the ongoing evaluation of pension plan performance, investment options, and fee structures.
    • Implementation: Oversee the transition or implementation of new pension schemes for emerging markets within the portfolio.
    • Member Support: Act as the primary point of contact for complex pension queries and lead annual pension clinics or financial education sessions for employees.
    • Audit & Reporting: Coordinate ongoing pension audits and ensure timely filing of all regulatory reports and tax documentations.
  • Benefits Responsibilities
    • Program Design & Renewals: Support the annual renewal process for health, dental, life, and disability insurance. Prepare cost‑benefit analyses and recommendations for senior leadership.
    • Vendor Management: Primary liaison for benefit brokers and carriers; hold vendors accountable for service level agreements (SLAs) and performance.
    • Market Benchmarking: Monitor regional trends and conduct benchmarking surveys to ensure TMX remains an employer of choice in competitive markets.
    • Well‑being Initiatives: Lead and launch holistic well‑being programmes (mental, physical, and financial) tailored to the diverse cultural needs of the EMEA workforce.
    • Communication: Create and maintain benefit guides, intranet content, and induction materials to ensure high employee engagement and understanding.
  • Operational & Compliance Excellence
    • Enrollment & Data: Manage the end‑to‑end enrollment process and maintain data integrity within Workday and vendor platforms.
    • Payroll Integration: Collaborate closely with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate benefit deductions, taxable benefit reporting (e.g., P11D), and invoice reconciliation.
    • Policy Maintenance: Ensure all benefit policies and employee handbooks are kept up‑to‑date with current local labour laws and internal TMX standards.
    • Budgeting: Monitor and report on regional benefits spend, providing data for quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting cycles.

Must Have(s)

  • Experience: 5‑7+ years in Benefits and Pension administration/consulting, with a significant focus on the EMEA region (specifically UK, Germany, or Austria).
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with Workday or similar global HRIS platforms is essential.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In‑depth understanding of UK and European pension legislation and taxable benefit regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUPs, data modeling) with a keen eye for detail.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with global stakeholders and influence across functions.
