JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the planning and delivery of the active network, service assurance, and OSS integrations, including the management of internal and external stakeholders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Act as the primary operational interface between nexfibre, VMO2, and Substantial Group for the integration of active network, service assurance, and OSS platforms.
  • Responsible for defining the integration strategy, leading analysis (including separation activities), and ensuring Legal Day 1 readiness.
  • Post-acquisition, accountable for the end-to-end delivery of integration programmes, including active network and OSS migration, service assurance continuity, data and asset reconciliation, and remediation activities.
  • Contribute to fibre planning activities to support and enhance network performance, capacity, and resilience where required.
  • Ensure strong stakeholder and partner management, effective governance, risk control, and a smooth transition to BAU operations.
  • Example post-acquisition activities include:
    • Migration and novation of active network infrastructure (e.g. OLT migrations, supplier transitions)
    • Integration and migration of OSS platforms (inventory, provisioning, assurance systems)
    • Alignment and stabilisation of service assurance processes (fault, incident, performance management)
    • Reconciliation and validation of network records, assets, and configurations
    • Delivery of remediation programmes to resolve data, network, and system inconsistencies
    • Coordination of stakeholder engagement across internal teams and partners
    • Transition to BAU operations, including NOC readiness, documentation, and process alignment
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of integration objectives.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable experience in XGS-PON networks, including active components (e.g. OLTs, ONTs) and OSS platforms (inventory, provisioning, service assurance), within live operational environments. Ideally also knowledge of aggregation and core network.
  • Experience in Planning activities linked to fibre networks, exchange infrastructure and network resilience.
  • Significant experience in developing and challenging costs and benefits in business cases.
  • Results driven as well as process driven.
  • Able to multi-task and think about the project through different lenses.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills. Able to interact with key decision makers at all levels.
