ISS STOXX is seeking a member of its sales team to support growing EMEA Institutional Sales. The role involves selling Stewardship and Responsible Investment Solutions to existing clients, asset owners, investment managers, and hedge fund prospects.
Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue and renewal goals
- Identify and close sales prospects and upsell with existing clients
- Maintain current book of ISS STOXX business by establishing relationships with client product managers and decision makers
- Grow ISS STOXX’s market share, recognition and perception within the asset owner, investment management, and Hedge Fund community
- Continuously assess market opportunities, define and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with management
- Ensure detailed sales and renewal reporting and forecasting
- Work closely with ISS STOXX Product and Marketing managers to define products, services and marketing plans
- Build and maintain senior relationships amongst existing clients and prospects
- Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firm’s CRM system
- Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant working experience in institutional sales
- Knowledge and understanding of Investment Stewardship and Responsible Investment and market infrastructure, including regulatory drivers such as SRD2, EU Taxonomy, Stewardship codes and SFDR
- Excellent presentation skills and inter‑personal relationships
- Innovative, customer‑oriented thinker able to identify and execute on market opportunities
- Highly systematic, organized and prioritized approach to sales effort in territory
- Absolute personal and business integrity
- Willingness to travel
- Native or proficiency fluency in English; other languages like French are a plus
