The Position

Currently we have an opening within our Service Team for a Service Technician who is customer focused and self-motivated to work with our team in Adelaide.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out quality field service repairs at the customer’s premises
  • In conjunction with Call Planner optimized allocated workload to accommodate over-runs and minimise unproductive time
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints in the field within company guidelines relevant to the position
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of necessary tasks – triaging jobs, ordering & receipting parts, closing jobs appropriately, rescheduling tasks etc.
  • Ensure van stock is controlled in line with requirements

You will bring to the role:

  • Current Electrical Licence
  • White goods and appliances experience will be an advantage
  • A sound technical knowledge of domestic appliances incorporating the ability to diagnose and rectify faults through effective problem‑solving skills
  • Skilled in the proper use of tools, equipment and gauges to ensure optimal use.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A genuine enjoyment of meeting and interacting with new customers
  • A clean current driver’s license.
