About the Hiring Team: Lightspeed Tech Center is a R&D department under Lightspeed Studios which develops PUBG Mobile and other high-quality games. Our Tech Center leads the research, exploration, and discovery of innovative technologies and provides technical services for all games during all phases of life cycle, including engine, audio, QA, AI, next generation game, technical cooperation, etc.

What the Role Entails:

  • Develop AI systems for high-quality 3D model and scene generation from text descriptions or images, tailored for advanced game development.
  • Apply expert knowledge in 3D geometry, texturing, and scene construction to produce sophisticated and realistic game assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate 3D models and scenes seamlessly into gaming environments, thereby enhancing player experience.
  • Conduct ongoing research and apply the latest trends and technologies in 3D model and scene generation.

Who We Look For:

  • PhD degree in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Mathematics, Game Design, Digital Arts or a related field, graduating from September 2025 to Dec 2026.
  • Extensive experience in 3D model and scene generation.
  • Strong research ability with publications in top computer vision and graphics conferences and journals (such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, NIPS, ICML, PAMI, IJCV, TOG, TVCG, etc.).
  • Demonstrated skills in 3D geometry, texturing, and scene construction.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven record of effective collaboration in a team environment.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3DS Max) and game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • A substantial portfolio or published work showcasing a wide range of 3D model and scene-related projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of scripting and automation within 3D modeling software.
