As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to clients within their own homes and local community, helping them live safely, comfortably, and with dignity.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same. Working independently and as part of a supportive team, you will:

  • Support clients with personal care and daily living activities
  • Assist with meal preparation, shopping, and light household duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Help clients maintain independence and wellbeing
  • Work alongside families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients’ needs or circumstances
  • Follow care plans and company procedures to ensure high-quality care at all times

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for caring, reliable individuals with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for helping others. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Working Pattern

We offer flexible working patterns around both client needs and your other commitments. Ideal minimum availability is an average of 3 days per week across Monday–Sunday. Shifts available:

  • AM: 07:00–12:00 (flexible 08:00/09:00 starts possible)
  • PM: 16:00/17:00 starts, with work available until 20:00–22:00 depending on client needs

Full office support is available daily from 06:00–22:15 while working in the community.

Pay and benefits

Earn up to £14.57/hr weekdays before 7pm and £16.03/hr weekdays after 7pm and all weekend. Paid travel time and petrol reimbursement. Pension. Hourly rates include holiday pay.
