The Global Head of Digital sits at the centre of that transformation to help shape a more modern, connected and influential global marketing organisation.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Commercial Performance
- Own digital strategy and annual plans across channels, setting targets for revenue, CRM performance, paid media efficiency and direct growth
- Deliver commercial KPIs including booked and stayed revenue, ROAS, conversion and direct contribution
- Manage global digital budgets and present performance insights to senior stakeholders
- Performance Marketing
- Lead paid media across PPC, paid social, programmatic, metasearch and GDS advertising
- Drive optimisation through testing, automation, audience refinement and creative improvement
- Manage emerging ad products and support key commercial campaigns
- Website, SEO & Conversion
- Lead website strategy, UX, CRO and feature development across global hotel sites
- Own technical, local and content SEO, structured data and search visibility
- Drive conversion, booking engine optimisation and content strategy
- CRM & Lifecycle Marketing
- Lead CRM strategy across acquisition, pre‑arrival, loyalty, retention and reactivation
- Deliver targeted communications through segmentation and personalisation
- Own CRM and CDP development, integration and optimisation
- AI & Innovation
- Define AI search, discovery and content strategies
- Evaluate technologies including AI‑powered guest, booking and data solutions
- Manage innovation partnerships and brand visibility across AI platforms
- Team & Agency Leadership
- Lead the central digital team across performance marketing, CRM, SEO, web and e‑commerce
- Manage agency and technology partners, budgets, KPIs and service levels
- Coach team members through performance and development planning
- Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Partner with hotel teams to deliver global strategy and local objectives
- Collaborate with Brand, Communications, Revenue Management, Sales and IT
- Lead digital reviews and influence campaign and content planning
- E‑Commerce & Digital Products
- Own e Shop strategy, merchandising, promotions and revenue growth
- Drive growth across gift cards, experiences and retail products
- Optimise online customer journeys and identify new revenue opportunities
- Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Own reporting frameworks across web, CRM and paid media
- Turn data into actionable commercial insight and investment recommendations
- Ensure data integrity, attribution accuracy and performance benchmarking
- Working Hours
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm, based in the corporate office in Knightsbridge. Remote work from home is available on Fridays.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in digital marketing in a senior/head of role, ideally within luxury hospitality, travel, or premium consumer brands
- Proven experience managing multi‑property or multi‑market digital strategy
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to extract insights
- Comfortable building narratives from data and presenting complex performance stories to non‑technical stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen with experience owning revenue KPIs and presenting to senior leadership
- Deep expertise across paid media, SEO, CRM, website, and e‑commerce
- Experience managing agency relationships and multi‑disciplinary teams
- Familiarity with GA4, Dynamics365/Salesforce, Shopify, Synxis, booking engine platforms and CMS (Umbraco a plus)
- Understanding of AI's impact on search and discovery
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, comfortable influencing at GM and C‑suite level
