As a Global IT – Support Technician you will be part of a team that delivers world‑class tech support across the Dorchester Collection. Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day oversight and administration of the Dorchester Collection IT infrastructure and third‑party providers that deliver support for both physical and virtualised environments.
- Configure and support systems to maximise availability and reliability.
- Provide first‑ and second‑line support to the helpdesk team and end users across the corporate office and internationally.
- Deploy, install and provide ongoing support for computer hardware and software.
- Facilitate IT education and awareness programmes for users.
- Assist in the delivery of new systems and projects to enhance the infrastructure, including hotel‑wide projects.
- Participate in incident management and response activities, including communications.
- Adhere to industry standards, best practices and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an IT technical support role, preferably within a mid‑ to enterprise‑size business.
- Experience administering Microsoft cloud technologies, Active Directory Users and Computers, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of server and desktop hardware support, deployment and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of LAN, WAN and wireless networking technologies.
- Experience with virtualised infrastructure is an advantage.
- Industry certifications such as ITIL, MCSA/MCSE, CCNA or a computing‑related degree are highly advantageous.

Working Hours & Location
Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with a core requirement of on‑call support outside these hours. The role is based in our corporate office in Knightsbridge.
