The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

We are seeking a skilled Gold Card Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in our factory, on site in country and abroad. Overtime would be available most days plus at weekends. Once trained there would be overseas travel, typically 3 or 4 times per year for a couple of weeks or so at a time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Working with 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
  • Building and fault-finding Control Panels.
  • Ensuring all work meets current regulations and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members in the factory and on site to complete projects efficiently.
  • Document work performed and report any issues to management.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
  • Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of control wiring, 3-phase systems and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to electrical work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are advantageous.

Desirable:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience with PLC systems and control logic.
  • Testing and Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent).
